Honoring the memory of Queen Elizabeth II

Philip came to me today
and said it's time to go.
I looked at him and smiled
as I whispered that "I know"
Then I turned and looked back
and saw that I was sleeping.
My whole family was around me,
and I could hear them crying.
I gently touched each shoulder
with Philip next to me.
Then I turned and went
with guide My angel.
Philip held my hand
how he leads the way,
to a world where there are kings and queens,
Monarch every day.
I was given a crown to wear
or Halo, known to some.
The difference is here
everyone wears them.
I felt a sense of peace
my reign has come to an end.
70 years I served the Motherland,
as a friend of the people.
Thanks for the years
for all time and love.
Now I'm one of two again
in our palace upstairs.

This poem I believe was written by a lady called Joanne Boyle
